Obscure Linux command line apps

I’ve discovered some joyful little apps for the command line over the last few years.

nn

fish – “Finally, a command line shell for the 90s” VGA colors! Google-style command completion!

nn

micro – a better text editor than nano (or pico)

nn

bat – a better replacement for cat and less

nn

exa – like ls, but again, with VGA colors! And trees!

nn

tldr – didn’t you ever wish that man pages were actually useful?
