When we bought a new house a few months ago, the tree-enclosed back yard was an instant draw. There are countless birds chirping in the trees and some of them even come down to visit. I’ve refurbished my busted BirdBuddy with some 3D-printed parts I bought off Etsy and it’s now badder than ever. It has multiple perches made from real sticks, a larger easy-fill seed compartment, and a little humming bird feeder.
Arthur and I have really enjoyed our breakfast birding sessions this summer and we’re starting to get a lot of action on the feeder. It’s mostly nuthatches and chickadees but here are others. Here’s a couple of clips from just this morning, to give you an idea.
