For my Birthday/Christmas, my wonderful wife got me a Ninja Slushi machine. This was quite the coveted viral gadget in 2024 so I was quite pleased and surprised to finally get one.
Some of the recipes are actually a fair amount of labor and take 30-40 minutes to freeze. But I can now make a Wendy’s Frosty from scratch and it tastes 100% identical to the real thing (chocolate milk, chocolate syrup, sugar, Cool Whip). But some things are as simple as can be (2 cans of Ruby Red Squirt. Freeze.) I’m quite fond of this 2-ingredient frozen coffee.
- Half a bottle of Bolthouse Farm cold mocha cappuccino
- 3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
- Run on FRAPPE setting 2 for about 40 minutes
I think it costs about half as much as something from Starbucks but with way better texture.
