It’s nice too see a couple US victories happen, including Men’s Figure Skating, women’s monobob and women’s speed skating.
It’s sad to see all the empty seats. I have fond memories seeing women’s curling and hockey in Vancouver. The olympic spirit was real, with a packed house chanting “NIPPON clap-clap-clap” for the Japanese women’s curling team making a comeback over the Russians.
I hope the crowds will be back in 6 years for the LA Olympics and maybe we can go.
