In the last week I feel like I have a new lease on my work life. I have started using the dictation software Dragon Medical One, and it has made my job so much more enjoyable. I tried to use Dragon about 5 years ago in my previous job and did not have very good results with it. As you are probably aware, there have been a great improvements in voice recognition at Apple and Google during that time period. So it is not surprising that Dragon has improved so much.
I am having to pay a large portion of it out of pocket, as my employer is only paying for the installation fee. I still think it is worth it because my day is flowing so much more smoothly. If you spend a lot of your day typingi into a computer, I think Dragon is worth a look.
