I am again going to sing the praises of the TV show Doom Patrol. I went into watching the 3 seasons on the recommendation of my brother and almost no familiarity with the comics. As I wrapped up the finale I was surprised how attached I had become to characters so silly. The show covers some extremely dark, serious themes with an endless parade of sight gags, absurdity, and light-hearted body horror. I’m going to check out the comics and can’t wait for season 4.
