The weekend before last, My dad, son, and I went to ride some bikes rented near OMSI on the East bank of the Willamette. This place had multiple types of recumbent, multi-person, and standard bikes. The employee (or volunteer?) helped me get set up on a recumbent for a very reasonable fee.
Since my cancer diagnosis in 2017, I haven’t ridden a bike, which used to be a major pastime for me. I had never ridden around with my son at all. ‘
Bikes on the Springwater Corridor
This was a blast even if I was going slower than joggers. I hope to be able to do it again and maybe buy a recumbent at some point. (I would be interested in recommendations for places that sell recumbents)
