Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Avett Brothers. They’re extremely accomplished and entertaining both live and recorded. They shift genres effortlessly (sometimes within the same song) but always have a coherent sound. The two brothers’ voices are distinct yet complementary in their harmonies. It’s a bit refreshing that there’s almost never any solos or jamming. We haven’t seen them live in several years, but I hope to see them again some day.
